I am often asked what I feel is best college town I have seen while traveling the USA. There can be absolutely no other answer then Tuscaloosa Alabama, home of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide.
Alabama Town, and New Philadelphia, two rival towns created in 1817, finally merged in 1819 to create what we now know as the City of Montgomery, Alabama. I find as I travel the USA, I am drawn back time and again to the city of Montgomery. Is it the history, the food, or the culture that keeps bringing me back? Maybe it's everything that is Montgomery.
